WordPress is excellent blogging application which is widely used by webmasters on their web hosting packages around the world, WordPress provides you many helpful plugins which you can use for making your blog attractive and Search engine friendly. Using WordPress, you can set your own frontpage for your blog, you can create them via Administration > Settings > Reading panel and just follow following steps:
You need to login to WordPress Admin
Go to the Write > Write Page panel
Just proceed with content for your front page, and then publish the page.
Now go to the Settings > Reading panel
Then click the option for “Front Page Displays a Static Page“ and select the page you have created previously from the drop down list.
Note : You can also display additional page where you can display “usual” list of blog posts.
Just create a page which will have blog post and simply give it title and leave it blank then select this page in the Settings > Reading panel as the “posts page” now you can link this page from your home page or your navigation bar and you have done.
